What's up with April 13?

Today is the birthday of the Third President of these United States of America, Thomas Jefferson (b. 1743). It is also the birthday of writers Samuel Beckett (b. 1906), Eudora Welty (b. 1909), and poet Seamus Heaney (b. 1939). The pithy Christopher Hitchens (b. 1949) of God is Not Great infamy, also share this date.

I wish some writers could have been born today....

Writers? Yeah, yeah. More stuff being written than ever and read...but not as much on paper.

You, for instance, need to be writing on your blog a little more!

Glad to see you with a Seal-team haircut this morning at Brady's!
